Simon and Mary Card welcome you to their lovely home.
Harepath Farm is a 16th Century Grade II Listed Thatched Devon Longhouse and sits alongside the A3052 just on the edge of the ancient village of Colyford (1230 ad) and just outside Seaton less than two miles from the coast. It is some seven miles from the lovely seaside town of Lyme Regis and three miles from the ancient fishing village of Beer.
It was originally the main farmhouse for the land that surrounds the property but now stands in a ½ acre with lawns, fruit trees and flower and vegetable beds…feel free to pick a pear or two…and relax in one of the many seats you will find around the garden. The dining room features a magnificent 17th Century Beer Stone fireplace (dated 1613 ad) built from locally quarried stone. This fine house is steeped in history with purified water from our own well and beautiful slate flag floors throughout the ground floor. Unfortunately, due the nature and age of the house, we are not able to offer wheelchair access.
We have recently extensively refurbished our home and look forward to welcoming our guests.
